This privacy policy explains how eHealth Systems Pty Ltd (“we”, “us”) handles information when you use https://practicetax.au (the “Site”). The Site provides free payroll tax calculation tools for Australian businesses, accountants, and medical practice principals.

2. No calculation data collected

All calculations run entirely in your browser. Wage figures, calculation inputs, and results are never transmitted to, stored on, or processed by our servers. The calculator does not require an account and does not send your data anywhere. This is a core design principle of the Site.

3. Third-party advertising vendors

We may display advertising served by third-party vendors, including Google AdSense. These vendors use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.

4. What we collect

If you subscribe to rate change alerts or use the “email worksheet” feature, we collect the email address you provide. We do not collect wage data, business names, or calculation results through these features.

We do not otherwise collect personal information about you. The only data we hold is an email address you have voluntarily supplied for rate-change alerts.

5. Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand aggregate traffic patterns — which pages are used, and how visitors reach them. Google Analytics 4 is cookie-based and uses cookies to distinguish users. We enable IP anonymisation, so the IP address recorded is truncated.

This Site operates a notice-and-opt-out model: analytics is enabled by default, and you can disable it at any time by choosing “Decline” on the consent banner (or by resetting your choice in section 8 below). When you decline, the analytics scripts are not loaded and no analytics cookies are set. You can also block cookies in your browser settings.

6. Affiliate links and partner recommendations

Some pages recommend third-party products or services — for example practice management software, payroll software, or medical indemnity cover.
